Our last Happy Hour was a great one! Happy weather, happy eating, happy drinking, happy friends being together — both new friends and old friends. Happy hour up on the roof of the Scott Building at the Armed Forces Retirement Home-DC is always good fun. There didn’t seem to be any dancing this time — but there was great conversation among volunteers and residents, and among old soldiers and old sailors. And there were prizes for those winning the trivia quizzes! Come and be part of the fun. Our next Friends of the Soldiers Home volunteer opportunity is Jingo this Thursday, Sept. 17, at 6:15pm.
